SERVICES
A safe place for the exploration and discovery of being.
Counselling offers a confidential space to explore and understand your individual circumstances and experiences. We often find change difficult when we feel alone or confused. By working with our issues and taking responsibility for our actions, we can find the freedom to change. Being aware of our perceptions, feelings, thoughts and sensations can help us to make sense of our life and relationships.
WE WORK WITH A WIDE RANGE OF ISSUES INCLUDING:
  • Alcohol and substance addiction
  • Eating disorders
  • Self harming
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Depression
  • Child abuse
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Self development
  • Domestic violence

The process of change also involves looking at our hopes and fears, as our fears often stop us reaching our full potential.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

We charge between £20.00 and £40.00 for each 50 minute session. An affordable sum would be agreed at the first session. Some concessionary places are available.

We offer weekly long term counselling, and where appropriate, short term counselling. We work individually with children and adults.

We do not offer advice or opinions as to what is right or wrong. Our aim is to help people find their own meaning and values.

OUR APPROACH TO COUNSELLING

We offer creative psychotherapeutic counselling, where the emphasis is on working with our clients to build an authentic relationship.

We explore the meaning we make of our past, present and future.

We work integratively using Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Existentialism.

As members of the British Association of counsellors and Psychotherapists we subscribe to their Code of Ethics and Practice.
